 Paul Sawtell
A Great Midlands Jazzman.

Piano and Vibes

For many years I, and my friends, have followed Paul to many gigs. We have had the pleasure of hearing him many times with such greats as Alan Barnes,. Julian Stringle and his own very fine trio with two of the best in the business, Tom Hill d/bass and Neil Bullock drums.

Our first contact was at the Masonic Wolverhampton with Mike Powell the promoter. (See pics on my
Wolverhampton page)
Paul is well known throughout the Midlands and plays at some of the best jazz venues such as Bolehall Manor and Stratford Jazz
He also plays for singers such as Carole Westwood and Laura Collins and is just a pleasure to listen to bringing out the very best in them.
Lucky for us Tim Lord of Bridgnorth is a great fan and friend which means we get to see Paul quite often, the latest being with Julian Stringle clarinet.
