THE NAUTICAL CLUB
3/4 BISHOPSGATE STREET
BIRMINGHAM B15 1ET

Conway & Anthea Jackson, supported by a committee of dedicated members, are keeping this club together and looking forward to welcoming old and new members at the New Location.

The club as always has proved most successful for listening or dancing to the many visiting bands. The Club has it's own bar, is easily located and even the parking is quite good.
It costs £12.00 a year to be a member and the door fee is £7.00 but for none members who are always welcome it is £8.00

Great News
The Club is now back to two gigs each month.

20th March
Hot Banana

Hot Banana are great fun with their exuberant blend of jump jive, swing and repartee. They're a four-piece ensemble with Simon Banks on piano, Matt Palmer on reeds and dazzling trombonist Kevin Grenfell. High octane entertainment - we expect the dance floor to be full when Hot Banana play at the Waterworks.

Running a jazz club is rewarding in many ways but it’s an uphill struggle financially. As an art form, jazz doesn’t attract a mass audience so clubs remain small and friendly. While this creates an intimate ambiance at the Club it doesn’t balance the books.
